How Google Took Over the Classroom

Last Updated on February 15, 2022 by Justyn Dim

How Google Took Over the Classroom

Google is taking over every school, every college, and every university around the world. How is that? By any means, Google made its breakthrough over the modern lesson with its wide range of devices and price efficiency. Every single day, a student becomes more attached to the things Google has to offer. All it took Google was 5 years to become the most common name among the students when it comes to school devices and ICT. It was that moment when Google released Chromebook.

First, Google saw that most schools around the US admit that their budget shrinks with each passing year. Every year more students are coming to those school districts which means more taxes and more expenses for the school. Educators sought a low-cost solution to handle their problems. The creators of Chromebook saw that and they immediately understood that this was an opportunity for Google to introduce its low-cost laptops to every school around the US.

Smashing Apple and Microsoft devices

The cheapest and at the same time most efficient option for every student – The Chromebook comes complete with a host of free apps for students and teachers. It uses Google’s Chrome OS and revolved largely around amazing apps, forcing it to become faster than usual laptop load information. A comfortable and easy-to-use Chromebook makes the usage of Google Docs and other Pro-Papers extremely friendly.

Breakthrough for Google Chromebooks

It was at this moment that these laptops became so popular all over the world. Nowadays around 30 million learners from every corner of the globe could use Google Education applications like google disk and Docs. Chromebooks are Google-powered computers that initially could not release a real goal. Google applications, services, and Chromebooks have become super useful in the USA classrooms and lessons every day and it is not tough to get an understanding of the challenge. They do not need extremely expensive soft. They are in no need of being updated, and they’re free to go, an important consideration for cash-strapped districts. A great advantage for the lecturers is that.

Teachers Can Now Be More Involved In The Student’s Work

Google documents and applications help in solving a problem situation and its solution is directly connected with the function of creative thinking. Students are gradually attached to the method of finding the unknown, learn to focus not so much on the result, but on the analysis of the process of achieving it. In the process of such work, learners have the need to exchange their opinions, reasonably, without which knowledge cannot turn into practice and become truly one’s own. The task of the teacher is not to form an unmistakable opinion, because this does not exist at all, but to teach students to go through independent discoveries and methods of using new technologies.

The use of ICT especially Google apps in the educational process has a large number of advantages and opens up a wide range of interaction possibilities. Conducting high-quality experiments, access to electronic libraries, colorful and illustrated presentation of the material all should be integrated and supported by any school or college. These are undeniable advantages of using computer resources in the educational process. Google only widens the borders for the education process and it should be noted that all the positive changes are thanks to new apps and technology as a whole.

Now for an end, let’s look at some honest opinions.

“There are a lot of classmates saying Google Docs is very easy and allow us to send papers as convenient as we want,” Andrade said.

“For what you are looking to do, they are more than adequate. They retain most of their basic functionality even without the internet, as long as you’ve enabled offline mode for things like google docs then you can access, and edit your docs even without the internet. It also allows you to watch video files and play music from a memory card as well (like on a plane, or if you are away from the Internet for whatever reason).”

“Amazing for school work. Chromebooks always have greater performance, battery, and trackpads. The alleged weakness is their reliance on the intoner connection. In my situation, I always have access to Wi-Fi and if not, I can use some offline apps.”

The use of ICT in the educational process is one of the ways to increase the motivation for learning. ICTs contribute to the development of a creative person not only a student but also a teacher. ICT helps to fulfill the basic human needs – communication, education, self-realization. The introduction of ICT in the educational process is designed to improve the efficiency of lessons, free up the teacher from routine work, and increase the attractiveness of the presentation of the material.
