- After that, uncheck the Recycle Bin box.

In Microsoft Windows Vista and 7

The first method to hide the Recycle Bin icon in Windows XP is to use the application TweakUI.
- First, you have to download and then install Windows TweakUI
- You have to open TweakUI and click the Desktop icon.

How to Hide Recycle Bin Using Group Policy
Using group policy you can also hide the recycle bin icon. In group policy, three settings will allow you to show or hide the recycle bin icon.
1. First, log in to Windows 10.
2. Then you have to type MMC in the search box on the taskbar.
3. In the search results, right-click MMC and you have to select Run as administrator from the menu.
4. Now you have to enter administrator credentials or consent to elevation if prompted.
5. You have to click ctrl+M in the MMC window.
6. There is Group Policy Object Editor under Available snap-ins on the left. You have to double click in it which is in the add or Remove Snap-ins dialog.
7. In the Select Group Policy Object dialog, you have to click Finish to set the local computer as the Group Policy object.
8. In the Add or Remove Snap-ins dialog, you have to click ok.
9. In the left pane of the MMC window, you have to expand User Configuration > Administrative Templates, and then click Desktop.
10. You double click Remove Recycle Bin icon from the desktop, in the right place.
11. Then you have to check Enabled and then click ok in the Remove Recycle Bin icon from the desktop dialog
12. Finally close the MMC window.

How to Delete the Recycle Bin Icon in Windows 10
