Consequently, the ‘Command Prompt’ administrator will become evident. Here you have to type ‘sfc /scannow’ on it. And then press ‘enter’. After that, the system scan will begin. It might take several minutes to complete the scan. So you have to wait for the finishing.

The good thing is, the process will repair the error if it finds any. After completing the process, let’s have a check that the error either exists or not.

Fix 2: Clean Junk File

Most PC users are not aware of the junk files. But the error 42125 can occur because of these unnecessary files. So, you have to clean them. The cleaning process will describe below.

Fix 3: Update Display Adapter Driver

Backdated display adapter driver can be a reason for Zip archive corruption. That’s why you need to check for update availability. Here I will describe the driver update process step by step.

Step 1

Firstly, right-click on the ‘Start’ menu and find the ‘Device Manger’ option. While finding it, you have to click the mouse button.

Step 2

Consequently, the ‘Device Manager’ interface will appear. From here, you have to work with ‘Display adapters’. Find and expand it.

Step 3

Next, right-click on the option you find. Then you have to click on the ‘Update driver’ option.

Step 4

After that, you will see a new interface with two ways to update the driver. One is automatic, and the other one is manual. I would recommend you to choose the first option named ‘Search automatically for updated driver software’.

Once you select it, the process will start searching for an available update. If any update is available, the process will complete automatically.
