Try to open ‘AppleSyncNotifier.exe’ but each time you have received the error message- ‘CoreFoundation.dll Was Not Found’

So, what to do now? How can one get rid of the error?

The good news is, that I am writing this article to explore the proper fix guideline to assist you to resolve the issue. After exploring the article, you will be able to resolve the error. So, let’s explore.

Why CoreFoundation.dll Is Missing?

DLL file missing is the most common error. Generally, the error has occurred in the older version. When the corefoundation.dll file is interrupted somehow, the error message will appear. Besides, virus or windows registry corruption can be the reason for occurring the error too.

How to Fix If CoreFoundation.dll Was Not Found

Whatever the reason is, the issue is solvable. You can solve it by yourself. Before describing the details, let’s check the list of the fixes first.  

  • Fix 1: Execute a Virus Scan
  • Fix 2: Scan The Registry for Proper Cleaning
  • Fix 3: Reinstall Existed Apple Software
  • Fix 4: Download and Install the CoreFoundation.dll Manually

Fix 1: Execute a Virus Scan

The error may occur for virus interruption. Many times DLL files like CoreFoundation.dll are affected by malware misinterpretation. In that case, you need to run a virus scan. To do so, you can use a third-party antivirus. 

After conducting the scan, try to check the existence of the error. If the error still exists, you will have to follow the next fix.

Fix 2: Scan The Registry for Proper Cleaning

In some cases, the Registry is infected with some corrupted files. For so, you need to scan the Registry for proper cleaning. I will attach the in detail process below. 

Step 1

Tap the Windows key and type ‘cmd’. Consequently, the preface of Command Prompt will appear. You have to open it. 

Step 2

Accordingly, the Command Prompt window will become evident. Here, you need to copy the below command and paste it into the window. 

scanreg/autorun

Then hit the ‘enter’ button. As a result, the Registry Checker will start running. The process may take several times to complete.

Step 3

After completing the checking process, you need to fix the findings. To do that, you have to copy the below command and paste it into the Command Prompt window. 

scanreg /fix

Then hit the ‘enter’. The process will fix any corrupted entries. It may take a couple of moments to complete the process. 

Finally, check the existence of the error. If somehow it still exists, you will need to follow some other fixes to resolve the issue. 

Fix 3: Reinstall Existed Apple Software

When you are not able to resolve the error by scanning Virus and Registry, then you need to reinstall the existed Apple programs like iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, and so on. You have to remove installed software from your PC first to reinstall them. To remove them, you need to follow the below steps-

Step 1: Tap the Windows key and type ‘control panel’. Then Navigate to Control Panel. Here, you need to select the ‘Programs’ section first.

Step 2: After that, tap the ‘Programs and Features’ options. Here you need to work with the existed list. 

Step 3: find out the programs you want to remove one by one. Right-click and choose the ‘remove’ option. 

Finally, after removing the existed apple software, you have to make sure that the process is completed successfully. This means the programs are uninstalled properly. You need to follow the below steps-

Step 1: Tap the Windows and ‘R’ keys together. Accordingly, the ‘Run’ window will appear. Here you have to type ‘%progframfiles%’ into the ‘Open’ box. Then click on ‘Ok’

Step 2: Consequently, the list of the program files will become evident. Check the list that is there any recently removed programs like iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, etc. files exist or not? If exists, you need to delete them all. 

Step 3: After that, navigate to the ‘Common Files’ folder. You will find the ‘Apple’ folder inside it. You have to enter the folder and check that are the Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, or CoreFP folders exist or not? If exist, you have to delete it.

Step 4: At the end, empty the Recycle Bin and restart the PC

Finally, it’s time to reinstall the apple apps. To do so, download the apple programs one by one and install them by following the on-screen direction. Hopefully, the error will be no more exist.

But, in case, you still face it, one more option left for you to apply. 

Fix 4: Download and Install the CoreFoundation.dll Manually

When no other option helps you to get rid of the issue, you have to download and install the corefoundation.dll system file manually.  

I would recommend you to download the corefoundation.dll file from the official website. Then install it by following the on-screen direction. 

Here you may be asked to confirm that you want to overwrite the new one with the existing one. You need to confirm it- ‘Yes’. Then open the Command Prompt. You need to copy the below command and paste it into the Command Prompt window.  

regsvr32 corefoundation.dll

Then hit the ‘enter’. After completing the execution, you need to restart the system.
