Everything has its ups and downs. Dedicated Graphics Card consumes a lot of your power and battery life so it is irritating to gamers using a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. They have to constantly switch between their integrated and dedicated graphics card for the sake of their battery life.
In the meantime, it also releases a lot of heat which has to be managed with extra cooling fans.
