Step 1: First, you have to download the EaseUS partition on your computer. You have to download the free version of the software. After downloading it, you have to install the app. You can alternatively use any other partition masters like AOMEI.

Step 2: Then, you have to open EaseUS Partition Master on your PC. A pop-up window will appear.

Step 3: Now, from the window, you have to find the disk you want to check and right-click on the partition of the disk. You have to select Check File System from the menu bar.

Step 4: Once the Check File System window appears, you have to make sure that the Try to fix errors if the found option is selected and then, you have to click on Start.

Step 1: First, you have to open the Run window on your computer. For this, you have to type run in the search engine and select Run from the search results. Or, you can simply press Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.

Step 2: Once you the run dialog box, you have to type cmd and press Enter. Then, the command prompt will appear.

Step 3: In the command prompt, you have to type the following commands in the command line:

• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth 

You have to press Enter after typing each command.

Step 4: Now, you have to save all changes and reboot your computer.

Method 5: Run SFC in Safe Mode for Windows Resources Protection

For this, you need to boot into safe mode.

Step 1: First, you have to open the Run dialog box on your computer. For this, you have to press Windows key+ R on your keyboard to open it.

Step 2: Once the run opens, you have to type MSConfig in the command line and press “Enter”.

takeown /f Path_And_File_Name

You have to press Enter after the command.

Step 3: Next, you have to type the command below and press Enter.

Path_And_File_Name /GRANT ADMINISTRATORS: F

Here, the Path_And_File_Name will be replaced with the path and the file name of the corrupted file.

Step 4: Then, you have to remove the corrupted system file and place there a known good copy of the file. For this, you have to type the command below and press Enter.

Method 7: Reset This PC

Here, you’ll have to perform a Windows reset to completely roll back Windows to factory settings. This may confuse you. Because resetting is of various types like soft reset, or hard reset.

Step 2: Once the settings window appears, you have to click on the “Update & Security”  option.

Then, you have to go to “Recovery”.

Step 3: Now, you have to click “Get Started”. You will find it Under the “Reset this PC option”.

Step 4: Now, you have to click on “Keep my files” if you want to keep your data. If you don’t find the data important, you can simply click on “Remove everything”. If you go with the second option, all of your settings will be as their defaults, and apps will be uninstalled.
