If the clipboard history enabled in your windows operating computer, the feature keeps the data information of items you have copied recently. The clipboard can store items like HTML, your selected text, images smaller than 4 Mb in size. The clipboard history gets erased whenever you shut down or restart your computer. The clipboard history feature will only work when you enable the feature.

To enable or disable this you should go to the settings option, select the system option, and from the left side of the context list please click on the clipboard option.

After making enable the clipboard history, by pressing windows + v you can bring up a small window prompt with a list of recent items that you copied. That means, when you copied those, the clipboard stored the most recent items.  

By pressing Windows + v, you can bring up the clipboard with recently copied items. Now if you want to remove individual stored items from the clipboard history list, first you should click on the three dots on the right top corner of the item. A small menu list will pop up which contains delete, pin and clear all.

To delete this item, you should select the delete option, and the item will be removed from the clipboard history list.

If you want to keep any item of this list, you should select the pin option.

If you want to clear the entire clipboard history list, again click on the three dots of any item. A small menu list will pop up again and now select the clear option. After doing this operation, the entire clipboard history list will remove.

If any item remains on the clipboard history list after doing the clear all operation, then you should understand that this item pined in the place. If you want to remove the pinned item, you should unpin that. To do this operation, again you should click on the three dots of this item and select the unpin option. Now you can delete it or clear all the listed items. 

Another way to clear all clipboard data on windows operating systems is to make settings to erase all clipboard data. To do this, first of all, you should go to the settings option. The settings window will come out. From this window, you should select the system option. From the left side down of the window, please select the clipboard option. From the right side down of the window, find the ‘clear clipboard data’ heading. Now click on the clear button to clear all data information from the clipboard history list. It will erase all listed data except the pined data.

If you want to disable the clipboard history, you should again go to the settings menu. Then go to the system option. You can see a list on the left side of the window, and from this please select the clipboard option. The clipboard window will come. Now if you want to disable the clipboard history option, you should toggle the switch to off. Once you disable it, the clipboard history feature will not show you the history list. If you press window + v, the clipboard will still come and this will warn you to turn on to see the history list.
