To watch the content on a TV, we need a coaxial signal to it with the help of an antenna or cable box. But modern TVs may come out without the coaxial input in the design. They may have other input options like a USB direct input slot or WIFI to play the media content. If you face such a problem then you can follow the process to connect the antenna cable to tv without coax input.

To get HDTV signal to a tv set without coaxial cable input will require an HDTV converter box. The HDTV converter box has many options like an external converter box or receiver, digital satellite system.

Connect the Antenna to TV Without Coax Input

After properly hooking up the TV antenna to complete the process, you should have a coaxial converter box. Converter boxes were created to convert the digital broadcast signal to analog television.

Coaxial cable: coaxial cable is a type of electrical cable which used to transmits a radio frequency signal from one point to another. Sometimes coaxial cable called coax cable. Coaxial cable consists of an inner conductor surrounded by a concentric conducting shield. Testing the coax cable before mounting is a great practice.

There are many types of coaxial cable according to gauge and impedance. The most common and popular types are RG-6, RG-11, and RG-59. They are available in a variety of colors including black, brown, and white. Coaxial cables are popular because of their highly efficient data transmit quality while being protected from damage and interference. They can be used with cable splitters, and are versatile.

Coaxial input: coaxial input is an input socket where the coaxial cable can be connected. Most of the tv sets accept signals from antenna or VCR via coaxial cable. Modern TVs have coaxial inputs plus inputs that use RCA phono and HDMI cables. 4K TVs use different splitter setups altogether.

Connect the Antenna to TV Without Coaxial Input

To Hook up Cable to TV Without Coaxial Input, Please Refer the Following Steps:

Step 1: find the coaxial connection port in the converter box and attach the coaxial cable to it. To prevent any unwanted connection loss during use, please make sure you hook the cable tightly.

Step 2:  there will be a red, blue, and green plug that makes up the component video cable. Follow the color code and just make a match with the color combination on the output on the converter box with the color on the plug. Conclusion

We’ve discussed briefly how to connect the antenna to the TV without the coax. The coaxial cables are hugely used in today’s world. Modern devices are commonly connected through coaxial cable.
